The bicycle has proven to be a beacon of positivity during these uncertain times. Bike ridership has boomed in cities where commuters have traditionally relied on public transportation. Some bike shops are reporting an increase in sales and repair numbers. Cities across the nation are even shutting down roads to cars to give riders and pedestrians more room to move. Bikes are uniting us while we’re encouraged to stay apart.
