The data from Johns Hopkins: The U.S. has 5.2 million confirmed infections and 167,000 deaths. Worldwide, there have been 760,000 deaths and more than 20.9 million cases, according to John Hopkins University data.

Croatia, where I want to go in October, is open if I can show a negative Covid test within 48 hours of landing. Both Ireland the UK require 14 day isolation upon arrival, which makes no economic sense for a “vacation” of sorts. Why fly for 10 hours, then stay quarantined in a hotel with meals delivered? And maybe a few pints of Guinness?
The blame for this sits squarely on the shidiot Orange man in the White House. I blame him for this, the unemployment, the deaths, the shattered lives, and the divisiveness with regard to race, culture, and human decency.
The problem would have been easily solved back in March or April by shutting down the country. He could deploy his militia to enforce wearing of masks and social distancing. Instead, he chose to deprive Americans of their Bill of Rights.
