It seems that I have covered a wide range of topics on my “Twelve Days” emails. I have included: wine, books, travel gear, food, travel destinations, OTC drugs, champagne, and many more. I have been doing this since at least 2008. And best of all, I receive some wonderful feedback from you!
Since we have been, and likely will continue to be in a “Ground Hog Day” pandemic mode, I thought I would give you Twelve Days to keep you busy, safe, and away from large gatherings, parties, and people. The key is to remain careful, even if you are fully vaccinated, and boostered.
Some of these “Twelve Days” are no brainers, some are new. But I am certain you will find something to keep you from going crazy.
On the First Day of Christmas, I give you Legos for Adults. Yes, the Danish toy and creative “genius” company derives its name from leg godt, meaning play well. In fact, in 2015, Lego became the world’s largest toy company by revenue ($2.1 billion)! It was founded in 1932 by Ole Kirk Christiansen.

Two in particular stand out for me. One is the Lego Art World Map, which I have already purchased and completed. See photo above. Two, is the Seinfeld Set. It brings back such great memories. But for us, it would just end up collecting dust.
But keep in mind that many other Lego products can be both interesting and challenging for adults. I fondly recall one Christmas when my son was about 5 or 6 years old. He received the Lego Trainn Set (motorized), which took my brother in law and I about 5 hours to build! And this is an activity you can do with your kids.
BTW, I love my map, since it allows me to place a special peg at locations I have visited around the world!!!
